Hastings County operates two long-term care homes: Hastings Manor (Belleville with 253 beds) and Hastings Centennial Manor (Bancroft with 110 beds).
Both homes offer private, semi-private, and basic rooms. Respite rooms are also currently available.

Hastings Manor Resources
There are 253 beds at Hastings Manor across eight resident home areas, called villas. There are two villas per floor on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors.
Each villa has approximately 32 resident rooms, a dining room, a fireplace lounge, two sunrooms, an activity room, a spa, and in-villa personal laundry. There is a balcony area between the villas on each floor.
The villas on the 2nd floor are secured and have direct access to secured therapeutic gardens for outdoor enjoyment.
The Home has both basic and preferred accommodation (semi-private and private).
- Basic room: two residents share a room and a washroom; there is a partial wall between sleeping areas.
- Semi-private room: a single resident per room, with a shared washroom.
- Private room: a single resident per room, with a private washroom.

There are many different volunteer opportunities such as working in the Tuck Shop, conducting tours of the Home, fundraising, resident entertainment, etc.

Hastings Centennial Manor Resources
There are 110 beds at Hastings Centennial Manor. The Home is divided into four residential home areas, known as Communities:
First floor:
- Cheddar Community
- Glanmire Community
Second floor:
- Hybla Community
- Thanet Community
Each community has approximately 28 resident rooms, a dining room, a TV lounge, a sunroom, a spa, and personal laundry facilities. Each sunroom has an outdoor balcony/sitting area for residents to enjoy the outdoors.
Cheddar Community
The Cheddar Community offers supportive programs for persons living with dementia and is designed to provide a safe environment to support personal expressions of exploring or searching. The Home has implemented Late Risers Breakfast, introduced flexible programming, and developed a number of interactive/sensory areas for residents in this community.

We have volunteer opportunities to meet your availability. Opportunities range from regular commitments to as-needed for special events. We would love to have you as part of our team.
