When I was asked, what does it mean for me to work at HCM.  Right away I thought back to when I first came to work at HCM and just how much our focus has changed.  We have gone from a task orientated environment to the realization and understanding that each resident is indeed an individual and that their care needs to be tailored for them.  HCM has provided those caring for the home’s residents with the necessary education and tools to meet the ever changing and ongoing needs of its occupants. 

Every day when I arrive at HCM I attempt to greet each resident with a big smile and provide them with a purpose to live their day out to the fullest.  Providing them with meaningful activities and experiences makes their life bright and has allowed me to have a purpose in my own life.

Working at HCM I have had the privilege of developing lasting relationships with residents and their families as well as developing lasting relationships with peers.

Every day I have a goal to help the homes residents and their families through whatever the challenges are presenting in their life.  Successfully helping them gives me great fulfillment.

Over the years I have learned a great respect and appreciation for each individual and their families .  I feel very grateful that HCM has allowed me to live a life where I can laugh and cry and teach and share knowledge to the best of my abilities.  My experiences here have helped me to raise and shape beautiful children who have grown to be kind and respectful of others especially those who need help.  I am confident that will carry on the great care in one way or another.

I am proud of the care that HCM expects from its staff for our community residents .  Participating in the everyday life of HCM has been nothing short of outstanding
