Available online 24/7. This training is recognized in your province and throughout Canada. You’ll

be a certified Food Handler across Canada for 5 yrs. Online Course, Official Certificate. Get your certificate today or go at your own pace. You have 30 days to complete your training and final exam.   • Smart Serve Certification (Smart Serve Ontario) – (Approx. 4 hrs. virtual training) Available online 24/7. This training will prepare you to work in any environment where alcohol is sold, served, delivered or sampled, in the province of Ontario. It takes about 4 hrs, you can stop/start your training, your progress is saved as you learn, you must complete the Training and Final Test within 30 days, Technical Requirements: It is recommended that training is completed on a desktop/laptop computer. The program is responsive and will work on a tablet or smartphone but you may find screen size to be small and hard to interact with some of the training elements. A reliable internet connection. Final tests will require a working web camera and microphone.   • Working At Heights (Safety Guys) – (1 day training) Every Tuesday & Thursday of every month from 8:30am to 4:30pm @ 335 University Avenue, Belleville, Ontario.   • Forklift Certification (Safety Guys) – (1 day training) Available monthly in Kingston & Belleville. Time: 830 am – 4:00 pm (class time may vary based on number of participants).   • Smart Start Program (Girls Inc.) 23 week paid program– Continuous Intake – Can apply at any time for ongoing job search support. Youth employment program for participants between the ages of 15 & 30 yrs old, who are living in the Belleville, Kingston and surrounding areas and are not currently working or in school. This program provides employment readiness workshops and work experience to assist young women overcome barriers to employment.   • FREE PRE-APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM FOR PROCESS OPERATOR – FOOD MANUFACTURING & INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN (Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development & Loyalist College) – Program Length: June 20th – Nov. 18th, 2022. Tuition is free and the funding includes all learning resources, including tools, textbooks and personal protective equipment (PPE). The program designed to support potential apprentices who may need trade readiness experience to gain employment as apprentices. Gain hands-on experience during a 10-week paid work placement. Fulfill the requirements needed to continue in an apprenticeship (pending employer sponsorship) or secure full-time employment in a manufacturing role. Receive a Loyalist College Certificate of Completion. Registration is open to Youth 16-29 amongst others.   • Elevate Plus Manufacturing (SAO) FREE 8 WEEK TRAINING (4 weeks in class including Graduation, followed by 4 weeks of work placement) for work in manufacturing. Starts Online on June 6th.   • Elevate Plus Military – Online Salesforce Cloud Computing Boot Camp (SAO) – FREE. Cohort is being planned to start in July. This program designed to help military families and former serving members obtain employment in the Bay of Quinte Region.   • Food Service Worker Training – FREE (SAO, Loyalist College Community Employment Services)

Starting May 10th – August 16th, 2022 (13 weeks training Online – 2 Semesters, 3 courses each semester). This program is designed to upgrade and enhance the knowledge and skills of those employed as Food Service Workers and Dietary Aides, as well as those who wish to seek employment in dietary areas in the healthcare sector. This program has been developed to meet the standards set by the Ministry of Health – Long-Term Care. Students must obtain a Grade of 50% or higher to pass each course and obtain a G.P.A. of 60% or higher to obtain this certificate. Will receive a Food Service Worker certificate from Loyalist College upon successful completion of the training.   • Youth Job Connection (Community Employment Services) – Continuous Intake (2 Week Paid training). This program offers PAID pre-employment services and workshops, followed by a PAID job placement. 60-90 hours of paid employment readiness workshops to prepare for the workplace, paid job placements (up to 26 weeks), with support and funding for employers.

Mentorship, coaching and help with school and work transitions during and after the program ends.   • DZ & Equipment Operator Safety Program – SAO – (Loyalist College and Community Employment Services) – Date: April 28th – June 28th, 2022. Will train you hands-on! Get licensed for DZ, and learn to operate safely a Backhoe and Excavator, while maximize your employment opportunities. Included with your DZ training we will also train you hands-on with a dump truck. You will learn how to properly operate the PTO (Power Take Off), loading and unloading. Learn different techniques of tailgate uses. Learn how hydraulic systems and hoists work. Dump Truck training will give you many of the skills most sought after by a wider range of employers. In addition to DZ, learn to safety operator a backhoe and excavator. Program Layout (10 Weeks): Soft Skills Training Week 1 & 10 (4 days total); Backhoe & Excavator Week 2 In Class (40 hrs), Week 3-6 In Equipment (30 hrs); Learn DZ Week 7 In Class, Weeks 8-9 In Truck (30 hrs). Client must have a clean drivers abstract and health screening for MTO, must have double vaccine, currently unemployed or under employed (working less than 20 hrs per week), seeking full-time work in the Construction field upon completion of the program, resident of Ontario and legally entitled to work in Canada. DZ road test will set up for you and includes unlimited us our truck for DZ road tests.   • ENVIRONMENTAL AIDE (SAO Program – Loyalist College) – Continuous Intakes until June 1st, 2022 – This will train individuals for frontline careers in Healthcare Cleaning. Eligible individuals will complete this program completely online, at their own pace as long as they complete no later than June 28th, 2022. Participants should set aside no less than 4-5 hours for training per week and the program content should take no more than 20 hours total. Participants need to get an 80% on all modules and the final exam in order to pass.   • HYPE (META) Next Cohort: July 25th, 2022 – 20 week paid program – 8 weeks of paid pre- employment training + 12 weeks of quality employment placement. Paid employment training for Helping Youth Prepare for Employment. During this 20 week paid program, participants will be able to choose from one of three streams: Information & Technology, Skilled Manufacturing & Apprenticeship, or Office Administration.
