Hastings County’s Community and Human Services department is gradually resuming in-person services to the public by appointment only in a limited capacity, beginning on September 8, 2020.
The Community and Human Services staff are committed to the ongoing health and safety of our employees, customers and community partner agencies. We continue to promote and encourage access to our services electronically and/or by telephone. Understanding that urgent matters may arise, your Caseworker will be able to schedule an in-person appointment when necessary starting September 8th, 2020. Ongoing clients please call your Case Worker, Child Care Worker or Property Supervisor directly or contact the main office through our Intake Access Centre 613-771-9630 or 1-866-414-0300.

Thank you for your interest in Hastings County Before and After school programs. The County continues to work collaboratively with our local School Boards and Hastings Prince Edward Public Health to ensure a safe and healthy reopening of our school programs. Once the Ministry of Education announces their school reopening plan, the County will contact families by email providing a registration package for completion. Families previously enrolled in the County’s Before and After School Programs will be given first priority. New families will be placed on a wait list until Ministry approval is received for the operation of our child care programs.
