Hastings County Social Services or Ontario Works is “Your Connection to Employment“, offering practical help to prepare for, find and maintain employment.
The services we provide to assist you in your employment journey include:
- in-house workshops that offer knowledge of local job markets and all the resources available to you
- referrals to local job counselling and training programs
- information on who is hiring
- access to education and upgrading opportunities
- access to job information centres that offer telephone, faxing, computers and job boards
- on-site coaching available through our case workers.
