Position Title: Propane Service Tech II
Team and Location: Commercial | Bancroft/ Belleville, Ontario
Position Summary: Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Propane Service Technician is responsible for the installation of Propane Tanks for both residential and commercial customers as well as occasional service calls. Working as part of a team, keeping safety top of mind, and being compliant with all regulations will ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of propane tanks including final connections to pre-installed equipment, and inspections
  • Assisting with fuel tank installation
  • Minor service/maintenance to existing customer equipment may be required
  • Installation of appliances may be required at times
  • Ability to plan and execute daily assigned work efficiently
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly complete daily, weekly and monthly paperwork as required by Company policy.
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly vehicle inspections as required and keep Company vehicles clean to promote the Company image standards.
  • Actively engage in company safety policies and procedures as required.
  • Safely execute daily tasks using the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) according to Company policy and procedures. Report any unsafe acts when viewed or identified.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with a willingness to take on other tasks when needed
  • G2 certification an asset but willing to train a motivated and committed G3
  • LP (Liquid Propane) endorsement is an asset
  • Able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable with the physical and outdoor nature of the job
  • Able to work a flexible schedule and on-call when needed
  • G license required, DZ license is an asset
  • Clean Drivers Abstract and/or CVOR, both in Good Standing
