Located in Barry’s Bay, St. Francis Memorial Hospital (SFMH) is a small and rural hospital, which recently was accredited with exemplary standing, offers both medical in-patient care, emergency care and a full range of diagnostic and clinical outpatient services in a collegiate, team approach setting.

 

We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician. This is a permanent, part-time position.

 

The Pharmacy Technician will work under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy. The functions of the Pharmacy Technician will be performed in accordance with established departmental procedures.
Qualifications
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • A minimum of two years of experience; hospital experience is preferred
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Excellent computer ksills and word processing skills
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to set priorities
  • Ability to set independent judgment
  • Interact positively and professionally with medical staff and health care professionals
  • All applicants must be fully vaccinated
