Operations Manager – Crosstown Construction Inc.

Crosstown Construction Inc. is recruiting for an Operations Manager. This is a full-time, seasonal position working Monday to Friday and some Saturday mornings.

The Operations Manager reports directly to the owner of Crosstown Construction and is required to help with the day to day operation of the company’s material yard. This includes but is not limited to:

• dealing with customers regarding all types of material,
• scheduling the deliveries,
• purchasing of materials as required,
• preparing quotations for customers,
• loading of company and customer vehicles with product
• maintaining the material yard in a neat and organized manner
• health and safety training and compliance for the company
• directing employees as required for work load and material requirements
• invoicing and payment collection for material delivered from the yard and customer pick up

• Must have three years of experience in a similar environment
• Knowledge of aggregates would be an asset
• Experience running machinery for loading material would be an asset or willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service skills – polite and courteous
• Competent in the use of accounting system software and spreadsheet software
• Willingness to obtain a septic permit licence
