Cashier/Showroom Sales Associate – Wilson Timermart

Wilson Timber Mart building materials and home improvement retailer proudly serving Bancroft and the surrounding area for more than 50 years.

We are looking for an individual with an interest in starting a career in building materials who wants to provide a great customer experience. A courteous individual who is eager to learn will work with our experienced team to learn our products, services, and procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operating the cashier station in the showroom.
• Assist customers finding products within the showroom.
• Greeting and directing customers upon arrival.
• Assist with keeping the showroom organized, stocked, clean and priced.
• Answering phones when the sales counter is busy.
• Learn and utilize the Point-of-Sale software system.
• Other duties will also be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Courteous and friendly personality is essential.
• Previous customer service experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge.
• Must be willing to work Saturdays.
