Each year Hastings County plays an active role in promoting Emergency Preparedness Week. This is supported with help from Emergency Management Ontario as well as the Federal Government. During the week for May 2-8, 2021 communities across the county participate in activities aimed at increasing awareness of emergency management.
The focus of this year’s week “Emergency Preparedness: Be ready for Anything” intends to encourage Canadians to take action to become better prepared for the range of emergencies that could face in their region.
