- Discover Hastings
As we near the end of summer, it is important that you get out and enjoy the beauty and serenity of Hastings County. The Gut Conservation Area is located southwest of Coe Hill on The South Road and it features walking trails, a parking lot, a look out area and a stairway down to the gorge. The “Gut” is a large gorge that the Crowe River flows through for about 230 meters. The fissure that forms the gorge is over 30 meters high and varies from 5 to 10 metres in width. The gorge presents a breathtaking glimpse of this unique terrain and a perfect place to spend time in nature and wander.
Tinhouse Woodworking and the Old Hastings Mercantile and Gallery are two amazing spots you must check out while up in Coe Hill. They have such a variety of one-of-a-kind gifts and art that you will easily find few special souvenirs for your loved ones and why not, get all your Christmas shopping done well in advance.
At the Barn Chefs, Luca Molteni and Sarah Woods believe that food made right can make the world a better place, and it starts with a healthier, happier you.
