BACKGROUND

The Town of Bancroft together with Hastings County opened a temporary Warming Center located at the North Hastings Community Centre as an emergency response to the cold weather warnings being experienced this winter.  After an exhaustive search for a suitable space, the Town of Bancroft was able to offer space at the arena as a temporary measure during the emergency shut down issued by the province of Ontario.

With the re-opening of public spaces today, Monday January 31, 2022, the Town of Bancroft and Hastings County wish to advise the public that the warming room will now be set up to run at a new location at 24 Flint Drive, Bancroft Ontario, (former Town of Bancroft offices).
