Hastings County Tourism Awards

THE NOMINATION PERIOD FOR THE 2018 TOURISM AWARDS IS NOW CLOSED.

Nominations for the 2018 Hastings County Tourism Awards have closed as of Wednesday, September 26th.

So you've submitted a nomination, what happens next?

Nominees will be contacted to confirm their acceptance of the nomination and requested to complete a questionnaire specific to the award category they have been nominated for by October 19th, in order to be confirmed as a nominee for the judging phase.  The only exception is for the MVP award, where the submitting organization will be asked to provide the additional information to support the nomination by October 19th and during this time, the nominee will be contacted to confirm their acceptance of the nomination.

From October 22nd to November 2nd, a panel of judges made up of local professionals from within the tourism industry will review the nominees and their submissions, and will select a winner for each of the three categories, based on a scoring card.

Winners will be announced at the Tourism Awards Celebration, which will be held on Friday, November 23rd at The Marble Arts Centre in Tweed, On. Tickets are now on sale! Register today: https://hastingscountytourismawards2018.eventbrite.ca
