Hastings County is pleased to be home to eight urban centres engaged in the successful revitalization of their main street districts. Each has its own volunteer management committee governing the process and they follow the internationally proven four point approach focusing on:

- Marketing / Promotions
- Retention, Expansion and Attraction of Business
- Organization / Collaboration
