For those who missed out, we hosted our first Twitter Tweetchat (#HastingsBizChat) on Wednesday, January 27th from noon to 1pm EST. This was the first of our monthly series for 2016 – each month we’ll be hosting a Tweetchat on the fourth Wednesday (tentatively) of each month (see below for sign-up details to receive reminder emails). The topics for these online chats will change each month and are based on topics we come across through our Enterprise Facilitation program, meetings with stakeholders, and through our resource partners.
For the January Tweetchat we asked questions surrounding the topic of home-based (HB) businesses.
Here is a summary of the online discussion that took place, and the answers to the questions we asked:
Q1: Why did you decide to start a HB business?
Q2: What has been your biggest obstacle?
— Ontario Rural Routes (@RuralRoutesOnt) January 27, 2016
Q4: Do you have plans to expand to a commercial space?
— Douglas_Barnes (@Douglas_Barnes) January 27, 2016
Q5: What are your best online apps/services or resources for your HB business?
— Jeff Rogerson (@JeffRogerson) January 27, 2016
And there you have it, a collection from our online discussion focusing on home-based business. Be sure to mark your calendars for our next Tweetchat on Wednesday, February 24th from noon to 1pm EST.
AND/OR Sign-up to receive a notification email the week of each Tweetchat so you never miss out!
